Jason Abraham
Born and raised in Santa Monica, California, Jason Abraham has been capturing memorable moments since he was able to hold a camera. He is a fun outdoors enthusiast who has been an avid photographer since high school. He first started out in the dark room photographing on black and white film and developing it himself. He later switched to a digital SLR in 2006 and began photographing everything which in turn led him to gaining lots of experience.
Jason loves the creativity of working with various lighting scenarios and different shooting situations while navigating timing and perspective. He is a storyteller, and through his photographs he enjoys helping others’ relive the good times. In his free time he enjoys traveling and seeing new sights, creating art, practicing yoga and acro-yoga, and hiking.
In 2020, Jason moved to Santa Cruz for a breath of fresh air and new sights.
Jason’s natural warmth and experience puts subjects at ease, making him a popular choice for events, weddings and festivals, as well as portraits.
When Jason is not working, he devotes his time to HDR photography, and has travelled the globe in pursuit of spectacular landscapes, many of which are available to buy as art prints.
In 2023, Jason passed his Part 107 exam and took his photography to new heights offering Aerial Photo and Video using his drone.
